I have been a real estate specialist on Hilton Head Island since 2009. In 2011, I was the top producing agent for Weichert Realtors Coastal Properties, a company of approximately ninety agents. Since 2012 I have been a part of Diamond Realty selling homes in Sea Pines, Wexford, Hilton Head Plantation, Palmetto Hall, Indigo Run, and off-island in Sun City and Bluffton. In 2017, Diamond Realty (our family-owned company) became affiliated with Century21. In 2000 we were recognized as the fastest-growing franchise in our market area. Before joining the real estate world, our family lived and worked in Canton, Ohio. I received a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a master’s degree from Kent State University. In the 1980s, I sold Apple computers as an education consultant and trained hundreds of teachers on the Apple computer. In addition, I have fourteen years of experience as an elementary school teacher.
I have earned The National Association of Realtor’s Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification (SFR) and I am an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) I have been awarded the Local Service Award from the Association of Realtors for the past nine consecutive years. I am a member of the Hilton Head Association of Realtors, SC Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and Hilton Head Island Multiple Listing Services.
I have served on a variety of community boards including Family Services, Canton Museum of Art, The Junior League, Timken Mercy Service League and Hadassah. For three years we hosted an international pianist during Hilton Head International Piano Competition. For six years, I was a tutor and mentor for Hilton Head Schools. I was the Education Vice President for Hilton Head Hadassah and chairmen of Outreach for Congregation Beth Yam. I am currently a volunteer for Back Pack Buddies.
